What is a Graduation Coach?

A Graduation Coach is a new position designed by the Georgia Department of Education to help ensure the successful transition of all students from elementary to middle school and from middle school to high school.  The graduation coach will help the school provide a comprehensive prevention and intervention program for at-risk middle school students and will help prepare all students for their high school and post-secondary career.
