I was out of school today but Mr. Celin, a student teacher, should have finished the symmetry task with the students and started going over the unit 5 study guide.

Continued working on Symmetry Task and learned about rotational symmetry.

Students today continued working on what characteristics make two figures similar and how to prove it. As a class we worked on Practice A worksheet #1-3, 5 and 7.
HW: Practice A WS #4 and 6 *Remember list the corresponding sides ratios*
Discussed the characteristics of similar figures. (except 1st period)

Today the students made their own symmetrical figure. Their figure had to have a horizontal and vertical symmetry. Then show those different symmetries by drawing a dotted line. Time ran out before students were able to complete their figures so I will give them tomorrow to complete the assignment.
