We finished discussing the six major forms of energy. Ask your child how the word CEMENT can be used to remember the six major types of energy. After we finish our notes, classes adjourned to the computer lab to complete a virtual investigation of energy transformations. The virtual lab is a product of our on-line textbooks. Any student who did not finish should complete the activity tonight. We will review the answers tomorrow in class if time permits.
The simple machine project was due today. I am very impressed with the machines and posters that were brought in today. We will test our machines on Friday after the weekly quiz. I can wait to see how far the marshmallows will fly!
