Cooper Chorus Pre-LGPE concert and LGPE field trip

Dear Chorus Parent,
The chorus will be having its Pre-LGPE concert on February 21st at 7pm in the Cooper auditorium.  What is LGPE you might ask and why are we doing a concert to prepare for it?  That information will be answered in the attached documents.  Please open the grade level appropriate document to find out.  We will need assistance the night of our Pre-LGPE concert with sound, video and digital cameras, as well as managing close to 180 students.  That is right.  6th, 7th, and 8th grade will be performing all on the same night, totalling approximately 180 students.  In order for this to run like clockwork we need your help.  Please email me if you can arrive around 6:15 to help out at this concert.
The actual Large Group Performance Evaluation performance field trip occurs on the following dates during the school day:
Mar.10th - 6th grade
Mar. 11th - 7th grade
Mar. 12th - 8th grade
Please read the attached document and let me know at your earliest convenience if you plan on being a chaperone for this field trip.  We would like at least ten parents from each grade level to help out.  It is a very exciting and scary performance for our students and they will feel much more comfortable with you the parent there to support them.  You will receive a hard copy of this document from your child in the near future along with a permission form and map.  Please have it signed and return as soon as possible and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
