P.A.T.H. & Youth Orators Club

If you are interested in becoming part of the P.A.T.H. (Parent Advisors to HOPE) committee, you may contact Dr. Yvonne Anderson via email (yvonne.anderson@cobbk12.org) to express your interest. In the meantime, the following dates are the meeting dates for the rest of the school year which occur at 6pm every second Monday of the month. They dates are: Feb. 11, Mar. 10, Apr. 14, and May 12th. Your input is vital... please let your voice be heard.

Students are invited to participate in a new club called Youth Orators. Please see the attached flyer for more information. If you are interested in letting your child become part of this club, please contact Gloria Lewis at gloria.lewis@cobbk12.org.

November 9th Movie Night Registration

There is a correction... the movie will begin at approximately 4:45pm. Students must return the registration form to Ms. Rogers on Wednesday, November 7th to ensure their is sufficient food as food will only be purchased for the number of people who have a paid registration on 11/7. In the event that your child's permission/registration was misplaced or not obtained today, please print, complete, and submit.

On Oct. 8th, the first P.A.T.H. meeting took place at 6pm. There was quite a brainstorming session with loads of fantastic ideas and enthusiasm. Today report cards went home. Please notify the homeroom teacher if you would like to schedule a conference with the team or if there is an inconsistency that might require attention. Parent-Teacher Conferences will be scheduled at the end of the 2nd quarter. If you would like to have immediate access to your student's grades, we encourage you to come to the Cooper office and sign up for I-Parent. This is truly the best way of getting an immediate answer on how your student is doing in class.

Cooper Carnival 2007

We will be hosting the school's 1st Cooper Carnival 2007 on Saturday, September 29, 2007 from 11am until 4pm. There will be vendors, food, games, face painting, $1 sale, and much more.
