I apologize for not posting in the last couple of days.
Classwork
Today we did a lab about the composition of soil.
Homework
If students did not turn in their lab handout complete when they left class then they are to finish it for homework and turn it in tomorrow. Also, students have a test next Friday 11/21/08 over Weathering and Soil. They should begin studying their vocabulary tonight for about 5 minutes.

Classwork
Today we reviewed weathering and factors that affect the rate of weathering. We then finished discussing some factors that affect the rate of weathering and worked on the directed reading for the Rates of Weathering section.
Homework
Finish Rates of Weathering Directed Reading and define differential weathering in own words on your vocabulary sheet.

Today in class we began with a vocabulary activity called "Give One Get One." We then did a brainstorming activity about the rate of weathering.

Make sure vocabulary sheet is up to date by having the first six defined in the book definition side and the first five in the "own words" side.

Today in class we reviewed different examples of mechanical weathering and had a discussion on chemical weathering. We then began working on the weathering directed reading which I will attach below and I also passed out "Autobiography of a Rock" to work on tomorrow.
