Students will begin their research projects over various Black History topics. Students will pick their topic on Wednesday and receive the project expectations and rubric on Thursday. We will work on subject verb agreement and will also do remediation for those students who did not do well on the Comparison of modifiers unit. We are about to read chapter 2 in The Boy in Striped Pajamas. We are still in need of copies of the novel so that we can have group rotations. (Books are still worth 25 bonus points). Downloads of the notes, rubrics, and exercises will be forthcoming so please check back by Wednesday.
Monday- warm up: root word list/sort provided (work due by Thursday; quiz Friday)
Media Center- students will receive an important lesson on how to do research for their research projects that are due this month
