Greetings Students:

I have found a valuable resource for those of you who struggle with what to put in an essay. This link will help you develop a thesis statement and organize your writing.

Please note-- this will help you develop a basic essay.  However, you must learn to extend and elaborate beyond the basic essay.

Tests for 6,7,8

There are several tests scheduled for the week of March 19-23

All classes: Vocabulary Test #12 is scheduled for Friday, March 23.

6th grade: Catherine, Called Birdy novel test is Wednesday, March 21.

7th grade: Chapter 20 Grammar Test is Wednesday, March 21.

8th grade: Only Vocabulary Test #12 is scheduled for next week.

4th quarter reading logs

Reading log #1 for the 4th quarter is due Thursday, March 22.

8th grade reading logs: 8th graders will be reading Georgia authors this quarter.  I will post a list of Georgia authors on the blog and will give students a copy.  Students will need to utilize the public library to check out books.

7th grade- Friday, March 2

Magazine Magic Project Check #2 is due Tuesday, March 13.  Since it is the last week of the nine week grading period, the project check will not be accepted late.  If you think you there is even a remote possibility that you might be absent, turn it in early!

Friday, March 2

All Classes:

1. Vocabulary Test #11 is Thursday, March 8

2. Reading log #8 is due Thursday, March 8

     Extra credit or make-up reading log is due Thursday, March 8

    No reading logs will be accepted after Thursday, March 8.  If you think you might be absent, turn it in early!
