Bloom's Taxonomy Book Project (6th Period)

Students will read a book of choice (fiction or nonfiction) and complete an activity from each level of Bloom's Taxonomy (Knowledge, Comprehension, Application, Analysis, Synthesis, Evaluation).  There will a total of six activities to complete. The due dates are as follows:

1. Knowledge, Comprehension and Application: May 9

2. Analysis, Synthesis and Evaluation: May 16

Portions may be turned in early but late submissions will be docked 20 points per day. Nothing will be accepted after May 16.

This will count as two Test/Project grades.

Language Arts Final Project

The ABC's of Language Arts

In an effort to review what has been learned this school year, students will create a PowerPoint presentation in the form of an ABC book. The topics can be taken from any grammar lesson, writing assignment, short story or spelling lesson we have studied. The due dates for the project are as follows:

a. ABC Chart

        - Letters A-J: April 22

        - Letters K-Z: April 25

b. Descriptions

       - Letters A-J: May 2

       - Letters K-Z: May 7

c. Powerpoint

        -Slides A-J: May 9

        - Slides K-Z: May 16

Students can turn in assignments before the deadlines. However, anything late will be penalized 20 points per day.
