This week we will look at two interesting algebraic concepts: imaginary numbers and the quadratic formula. The imaginary unit is written in this way: i. I will give you a few handouts in class this week and they may also be downloaded from this blog. Also, we will be working with our purple textbook this week and possibly next week as well, so please remember to bring it to class each day.
